Job Role: Junior Tester

Location: Essex

We are looking for a Junior Tester to join the 1X2 Network Test Team, based at our Office in Brentwood Essex, reporting directly to the Test Team Lead. The key responsibilities for this role are to test new and existing games throughout the game lifecycle. Identify and log defects. Work with developers, designers and Integrators to resolve and re-test defect fixes. Assist the Operations Team in the testing of internal system changes.

The Position

The position of the Junior Tester is a highly demanding role. Where attention to detail is key. It will be your responsibility to test multiple games thoroughly, utilising tools such as Jira and Test Rail. The main area of focus will be testing company products, ensuring they are ready for market in a fast and effective manner. The role will include maintaining test-case validity, managing and reporting any defects or issues in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• Follow all testing instructions and guidance provided

• Test all games thoroughly

• Verify gameplay is as per design

• Undertake exploratory as well as structured manual testing.

• Get involved in testing potential exploits of the system.

• Raise, track and have ownership of issues through to resolution.

The most important attribute is a commitment and enthusiasm for quality and enabling a culture of consistent high-quality product delivery.

Required Experience

· Computer literate

· Reasonable English Language skills

Bonus

· Familiar with MS Office Products or similar

· Reasonable understanding of mathematics and statistics
