Description

Extension Architecture & Interiors LTD is a growing Architectural studio specialising in residential and commercial projects in and around London. Over the past 12 years, we have been involved in a turn-key solution ranging from small to large-scale projects, luxury interior fit-outs and construction.


Extension Architecture & Interiors LTD intends to appoint an enthusiastic and well-organised Architectural Technologist to assist and coordinate in RIBA Stages 0-3 of our projects. We are looking for a candidate who is keen on getting involved in the design process and who is able to confidently produce Revit and AutoCAD drawings for the purposes of planning permission.


This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring architects to develop their design portfolio with exposure to various RIBA Stages, client meetings, on-site meetings and departments under the guidance of our Part 3 Architect and various design teams.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Degree Level in RIBA/CIAT accredited course.

  • Broad experience in fielding working with a variety of project types. (Advantageous)

Skills Required:

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

  • Proficient in using Revit, AutoCAD and Enscape

  • Well-organised and motivated

  • Good time management and ensuring timely delivery of tasks and correct reporting methods on completed work

  • Candidate should be flexible and adaptable

Roles and Duties of Internship Programme:

  • Learning and understanding UK Planning Permission Policies in and around the London area.

  • Participation in design and conception of projects in a team environment with innovative technical and creative solutions.

  • Assist in running of projects and produce packages of work under the supervision from a senior architect or associates.

  • Assess the quality of design and drawings and ensure the performance exceeds minimum standards.

  • Attendance of client meetings, on-site meetings and site survey's in order to effectively record important information.

  • Assistance in administrative duties working directly with departmental heads
