TITLE: Data Strategy Intern

LOCATION: London, UK

LENGTH: 6 - 12 months with roughly 10 - 20 hours per week

The Role:

Canoe is seeking an intern with interest/awareness of private market investments who enjoys research and writing reports.

As a Data Strategy Intern, you'll create and deliver analytical research and thought leadership products for private market investments to our core clients. In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to work with Canoe's data architecture and workflows, conduct competitive analysis, and collaborate with internal product teams to contribute directly to business outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Learn Canoe's data architecture and workflows

• Build awareness of private market trends through public source research

• Produce research reports on a monthly basis related to the aggregated cash flows across funds

• Review the current data set and determine additional fields that may be core to future-proofing a research product

• Conduct competitive analysis on current private market thought leadership and research

• Collaborate with internal product teams to automate data analysis

• Work alongside the VP of Data Strategy to engage with large institutional investors for ideation and product development

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• Analytical skills

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Ability to manipulate data, with some coding experience

Preferred:

• Industry knowledge and financial understanding
