On-site Engineer (Frankfurt Data Cente)

Status: Contract, full-time

Eligibility to work: no work/visa restrictions

High-Level Responsibilities：

1. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of data centre infrastructure

2. Assist in facilitating vendor repairs for tickets and installation of servers

3. Understand the requirements of 24x7 on-site supports

4. Responsible for enforcing the facilities regulations and safety policies

5. Ensure SLA standards are met for all tickets

6. Provide a clean work environment by ensuring the facility is clean

7. Executing daily walkthroughs of IT equipment and MEP equipment

Job Requirements：

1. Associate degree or above in a computer science or engineering discipline

2. Preferred with large-scale data centre on-site operating experience

3. Familiar with data centre power, machinery, fire, and control system

4. Willingness to learn more about IT infrastructure areas such as server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, networking equipment, technologies and architectures, IT service delivery principles and best practices

5. Self-motivated and self-management ability, with strong problem analysis and crisis thinking experience

6. Familiar with the servers, network equipment, hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting processes and methods

7.  Able to accept working in multiple sites (Data centres) within a region if required.

8. Ability to communicate in German/English. Chinese speaking is preferred.
