New start-up niche womenswear brand is offering an amazing opportunity for a highly-motivated and commercially savvy intern with a keen interest in the travel industry to join the small team.

We are a small independent brand, producing in London, and looking for the right intern to join the team. This is a broad role and offers a very hands-on experience to the right candidate.

JOB SUMMARY

Interns are an integral part of a small and friendly team and will work closely with the PR, Marketing and Product team, developing both online and offline projects as well as learning new skills in wellness tourism: the fastest growing sector in the travel industry. The internship will give you a window across what it’s like to work for a busy online travel company who sells wellness holidays.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Assist in newsletter creation and articles

  • Writing for print publication for various PR & Marketing stories

  • Assisting with the growth and development of the company’s social media

  • Assisting with marketing campaigns and new projects

  • Liaising with multi-national suppliers

  • Research potential contributors and brands to work with

  • Writing blogs to be published on the website


PLACEMENT STRUCTURE

The intern will work alongside of PR & Marketing team to develop both online and offline projects as well as learning new skills in wellness tourism. They will go through an initial introduction period where they will be set certain writing tasks with immediate feedback.

Phase 1: The intern will be briefed on the brand, their PR & Marketing strategy and understand their processes. Their writing skills and initiative will be evaluated during this stage.

Phase 2: They will assist the Product, PR & Marketing teams working with them on specific projects, which will give them the opportunity to develop further skills in writing, social media, media relations, newsletters and copywriting.

Phase 3: The intern will be able to carry out independent work in these areas, whilst still having ongoing daily supervision and regular catch ups.

Phase 4: In the final phase the intern will work towards a final internship review and evaluation. They will have gained lots of experience in key areas and should now be confident with key skills they have learnt.
