The Business Development role is an interesting sales and marketing-focused position, and is perfect for someone with great communication, organizational and negotiation skills.


We are looking for someone with a passion for travel and executive education and an enthusiasm for communicating with people from around the world. Reporting directly to the MD, the key responsibilities of the role are designing and implementing international marketing proposals and strategies, sourcing and maintaining a consistent new business pipeline and contributing where necessary to support the broader organisation's goals.


You will be responsible for:

- proposing, designing and developing costing proposals and budgets in accordance with client specifications on a specified time and budget

- communicating with our logistical partners (Destination Management Companies) located around the world to source quotes

- negotiating and arranging hotel accommodations, dinners, cultural events and transportation for the groups

- ensuring program quality logistic-wise

- problem-solving at all stages of program design, development & implementation

- related administration work such as invoicing, accounts lodging etc

- sharing information, contacts & experiences with colleagues - contributing to teamwork and overall results of the team


We anticipate:

- fluent English (spoken & written)

- high-school diploma

- experience in travel services, i.e. travel agency and/or hotel is an advantage

- excellent computer literacy is critical (MS Word, Excel a must & Outlook)

- highly organized, reliable & detail-oriented

- good negotiation skills and communication skills

- friendly, enthusiastic and customer-oriented

- self-starter, a team-player, ready to work hard and learn more
