Supply Chain Intern-Thermo Fisher

The Supply Chain Internship position provides an opportunity for business students who are

currently pursuing a Mathematics, Data Science, and Business Administration degree to get

hands-on experience working with a supply chain Director in a fast-paced manufacturing

environment. The Supply Chain Intern will contribute to performing data analyses, reporting,

forecast consolidation at the division level - as well as deriving actionable insights that help

drive overall efficiency, productivity, and revenue.

Essential Functions

• Be able to ‘tell a story using analytics that identifies incremental revenue and efficiency

opportunities

• Work towards real-time reporting to catch problems as they occur and drive corrective

actions

• Leverage visualisation tools such as (examples Tableau, PowerBI) to analytics that helps

businesses and senior leaders understand the impact of identified opportunities

• Develop and maintain ongoing reports/dashboards as well as ad hoc analyses

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to better understand revenue growth that provides additional data metrics that help show the full Business "story”

• Specific tasks will be tailored to the Product Supply Chain interns’ experience level and

abilities

• Ability to manage large data sets.
