A boutique dispute resolution and family law firm operating from Nottingham's legal quarter.
The target demographic for internships in UK legal firms is typically made up of university-level students who have a keen interest in law. This includes:
Law Students: The primary audience for these internships is law students who are either pursuing their LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or LLM (Master of Laws). These students are usually seeking practical experience to complement their academic studies.
Pre-Law Students: This includes students who are planning to attend law school in the future or those who are considering a career in law. They might be studying related subjects such as political science, criminology, philosophy, or history and want to get a hands-on understanding of the legal profession.
Graduates: Graduates who have recently finished their law degrees and are looking for work experience before they start a training contract or before they start working as a paralegal can also be a significant demographic.
Career Changers: Occasionally, these internships might also attract individuals who are considering a career change into law. These individuals might already have a degree in another field or be working in a different industry and are exploring the possibility of transitioning into a legal career.
International Students: Law firms in the UK may also offer internships to international students. This provides an opportunity for these students to learn about the UK legal system and gain international work experience.
